A Joint Multi Adventure Expedition of HPTDC and Indian Air Force
The Indian Air Force in collaboration with HP Tourism Development Corporation and Department of Tourism & Civil Aviation, Himachal Pradesh is organising joint adventure expedition from 12th to 17th June, 2017 to promote adventure tourism potential of Himachal Pradesh. The Indian Air Force Officers will carry out various adventure activities in Himachal Pradesh during this event. The expedition will start from sky diving at Shimla that will be followed by MTB from Shimla to Tatta Pani, Paragliding at Jogindernagar, Trekking & Camping at Manali and River Rafting at Kullu.
The expedition will be flagged off on 12th June, 2017 from Shimla. The students of local schools, Police and ITBP personnel, Local cycling Association, Hotel and Restaurant Association, National and Local Media, Travel Writers and local dignitaries are invited to be part of this expedition.
This event will be first of this kind which will be jointly organized by Indian Air Force and Himachal Tourism to showcase adventure opportunities in Himachal Pradesh as well as to encourage our young generation for joining Indian Air Force services.
The skydiving, parasailing and paramotor activities will be held at Jubber Hatti Airport, Shimla on 12th June, 2017 from 08:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The MTB Expedition from Shimla to Tattapani will be flagged off from Historic Ridge, Shimla on the same day. The local Cycling Association and other cyclists will also join this expedition with dare devils of Indian Air Force from Shimla to Mashobra. The expedition will be continued with Paragliding at Bir Billing on 14th June, 2017. In the next phase, the expedition team will carry our trekking and camping from Manali to Beas Kund on 15th and 16th June, 2017. The adventure expedition will finish off with River Rafting activity at Kullu on 17th June, 2017.
